The Best of Nut & Seed Nutrition

CASHEW NUT BUTTER

The creamy texture of Cashew Butter makes it a popular alternative to traditional peanut butter. Actually a seed and not a nut, cashews are an excellent source of iron and copper, a mineral that is a cofactor for many different enzymes that help with anti-oxidant function, energy production, iron utilization, bone strength and blood vessel flexibility. Cashew butter is rich in oleic acid, the same healthy fat found in olive oil.  It is also a great source of magnesium that has relaxing effects on muscle, nerves and blood vessels.
